I will hold nothing back

Worship is not just the songs I sing; it is my lifestyle. It will be passionate. It will be driven. It will demand an explanation. I will be open; I will be vulnerable. I will stay broken and humble at the feet of Jesus. I will live with such intensity that I must continually seek God's presence so I don't burn out. I will seek God first in everything. I will be filled so I can pour myself out over and over. I will desire nothing but to sit at the feet of Jesus and cry, "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come." I will live for the glory of my Savior.

Quick update, and prayer request

Just a quick note to say that we're all doing okay. Officials have now said the river might crest at 43 feet. Our house is okay up to about 42 feet, but 43 is a major problem. PLEASE be praying that the river doesn't crest any higher than 42; less would be a blessing. Also, please pray that the dikes and levees will hold strong and not break or leak. Once the river crests, it may stay that high for as long as 7 days, so the dikes holding together is critical. Again, please be praying. The media and such are not exaggerating when they say this is a horrible situation. We are in an intense battle against time and nature.

We will soon be deciding whether to leave or stay here; and we should have a decision by tomorrow. We have to decide soon because if the river floods the roads, it would flood our escape route. Not cool. :-)
So, if we decide to leave, I'll update as soon as I can, but it may be a while. In the meantime, please continue to pray and intercede for this city and the entire state (and MN). Prayer is a more powerful weapon than the largest sandbagging machines.
