I will hold nothing back

Worship is not just the songs I sing; it is my lifestyle. It will be passionate. It will be driven. It will demand an explanation. I will be open; I will be vulnerable. I will stay broken and humble at the feet of Jesus. I will live with such intensity that I must continually seek God's presence so I don't burn out. I will seek God first in everything. I will be filled so I can pour myself out over and over. I will desire nothing but to sit at the feet of Jesus and cry, "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come." I will live for the glory of my Savior.

Random things I'm thankful for

These aren't in any particular order, just things that happen to come to my mind as I write.

  • Music, and the amazing passion for it that God has instilled in my soul.
  • My parents, for living their lives wholly devoted to Jesus.
  • All the biking/hiking trails at the state parks, and the ability and freedom to enjoy them.
  • A God-given hunger for learning.
  • Books, and the ability to read.
  • My brothers, for teaching me patience, and for loving me even though they often see and bear the brunt of the very worst of my faults.
  • Only six more days of sitting through English class.
  • Friends who love me and are willing to listen when I need someone to talk to.
  • The boldness to carry the name of Jesus no matter where I go.
  • The soldiers who are giving their lives overseas (and those who aren't overseas) so that I can enjoy the freedom to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family.
  • Above all, my beautiful Savior, who never gives up on me.

So, what are you thankful for? What did I leave off of my list that should totally be on there?

God's Word
music
family
friends
freedom
life
books
food
YOU! :-)

Let's see . . . what did you leave off . . . well, you didn't write down the Bible, but that could be included under books, and of course if you're thankful for Jesus I know you're thankful for His Word! :-)

Oh, and you left off cheesecake too.

Happy Thanksgiving!!
