We've been pretty busy with finishing up school and recovering from the flood, so I haven't had time to write an update, but I wanted to let y'all know we're fine and praising God for the way He carried us through the '09 Flood trauma. The second crest of the river didn't even get up to 36 feet, so no damage was done there. We thank God that He held the dikes together throughout most of the city; we sustained no damage to our house, though our sump pump still runs fairly often.
Carl and I have a piano recital on Sunday, and a piano competition next Wednesday, but if I don't get an update on those put up, I'll try to give full details after my graduation. It's getting to be a bit crazy around here preparing for my recital/graduation, so don't be surprised if you don't hear from me too often in the next few weeks.

I will hold nothing back
Worship is not just the songs I sing; it is my lifestyle. It will be passionate. It will be driven. It will demand an explanation. I will be open; I will be vulnerable. I will stay broken and humble at the feet of Jesus. I will live with such intensity that I must continually seek God's presence so I don't burn out. I will seek God first in everything. I will be filled so I can pour myself out over and over. I will desire nothing but to sit at the feet of Jesus and cry, "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come." I will live for the glory of my Savior.
